It’s a tough thing when the ego remains so present in all that is experienced in life. The challenge remains in the continuation of allowing the egoic self to be seen but not rule the existence of being. Ego serves a beautiful purpose in our lives to offer confidence in moments where it may be lacking, or to stand up and speak a truth that may be difficult for others to hear. The key is to not let it take over the existence of all your thoughts and truths. When bringing focus and clarity to your own journey, remember that you are a vessel of light connected to all living existence that surrounds you. Connection to your deepest presence in the moment, roots you there without stories of past or future. It is in the moment that you are free of all that disconnects you from your higher self.
In the first few days of last week the feminine release was very much a part of the process. There seemed to be a “thickness” of energy that was blocking the flow feminine light. Feminine energy is connected to the right brain which controls the left side of the body. This energy is relates to intuition, compassion, emotions, creativity, empathy, flow, and spiritual or holistic thought to name a few. Feminine energy has also been referred to as Yin which is receiving the inward flow of energy. When the feminine is stagnated or blocked, it greatly restricts your ability to access your creative and intuitive abilities. It takes you out of the flow, similar to a river flowing that sweeps you away; they say it is better to swim with the current directing yourself to the shore because when you fight the current, you get pulled under or exhaust your ability to remain buoyant. In other words, you might have felt yourself swimming against the currents of life, emotions, or relationships and experienced a crash in energy or life force as a result.
When this happens it is important to remember to take time for yourself. You can be at work or home or travelling, but find a quite space where you feel comfortable and safe for as long as you need. Once you are in this space, use the time you have to connect to your life force, your source (whatever that means for you) by taking a few deep breaths. As you begin to breathe more deeply, listen for the sound of your beating heart, or maybe the blood coursing through your veins. Then visualize yourself swimming with a gentle wave that carries you as you swim. Release all expectations of the destination you are swimming toward and really focus on how the waves are supporting you, encouraging you, and empowering you to trust your own ability to stay above the water. Begin to sense your place of inner knowing, this intuitive knowledge that encourages the release of anger, frustration, and anxiety so that you can release yourself from being a victim of any situation and embrace your truest strength and wisdom.
The latter half of the week was about making choices and owning them. For some, it meant taking responsibility for choices or agreements made in the near or distant past. For others, it was about seeing what sits in front of you and having to make a decision that will directly affect the outcome of a situation or instance in their lives. Having these choices presented to you creates this brilliant opportunity to connect to the flow, the feminine energy of intuition that will allow you to see the best path for your journey. Ask yourself the question and you will have the answer in 3 seconds. Yes, I said 3 seconds because anything after that is your ego mind coming in to tell you what you want to hear or what you think you need to hear.
Saturday and Sunday may have proved to be quite intense for some, leading into the full moon of February 8th. This was a good time to see things for what they really are; to embrace the light beyond the fear; to commit to your truth and your heart with the knowledge that you know and that it is ok for you to trust that even if it doesn’t conform to the opinions of society and your social surroundings. Face the intensity and believe that it has shown up to give you a gift in seeing the deeper truth of who you really are.
