I entered last week with new eyes, not knowing what was to come and, with a deep knowledge that things would be different at the end. The full moon last Thursday was a significant push to acknowledge all that was shifting within me. I was being forced to see my reality and in that, finding myself ready to fight the new path I was given. Of course the universe, with her magical wink said, "You can resist the flow, however it will only make the journey to your higher calling more difficult.” The process of surrender clearly meant eliminating illusions and fears that have been bubbling to the surface for several months. Before those could rise up and out, there was some big, bad anger ready to poke and prod me, leaving me feeling exposed and raw. The beauty of all of this is that there is peace in letting go.
Facing reality shows up in many different ways. Some of you feel it like an itch that can’t quite be satisfied not matter how much you scratch. This feeling that you know something is bubbling to the surface and yet it will not allow itself to be seen. You may connect through the sight of your own reality popping up in every situation you enter out in the world. That day where you keep tripping over things, get bumped into everywhere you go, or see something again and again. There are also those of you who can recognize a situation, feeling, or emotion and look it straight in the face but seeing it so straight on, that it leaves you feeling overwhelmed and not sure how to move through it. If an energy has shown up for you and your spirit believes you are ready to release it, IT WILL FIND A WAY! You may experience moments of sudden tears ready to flow or edgy anger firing up. Of course these moments never seem to be convenient (at work or in public) when they pop up but they show up this way so that you know they are ready to move through. When you allow yourself to take time in acknowledgement, you are offering your heart an opportunity to release and expand. To help the release you must nurture yourself and allow the energy to find its way out. Try writing it down and burning it in ceremony; doing a dancing meditation to shake it out; or leaning on a tree asking for assistance; all offerings of nourishment that support your release.
The full moon on Thursday allowed for a nice, wide opening to happen which hopefully assisted you in getting closer to who you are in this life. Higher callings are not only to discover purpose, but set the stage for us to see how we can crack open like a seed under the dirt and begin to grow up toward the light, so that we may sprout into a new place. When you know you are meant to be something or someone, the idea of being in the box which society places us in, feels unreasonable. You will hit a point in your journey when you decide that moving forward in the flow IS the way, and it will matter so much less what others think about it. Knowing a higher power and sensing it within yourself is true empowerment. It can show up as an influx of light and an undeniable knowing so deep within you being that you will be able to feel it, taste it, touch it, see it, and hear it in all that you do, allowing you to TRUST the process.
Eliminating Illusion and fear is the most important lesson you can work with during these times of higher energy movement but it can also be some of the most challenging work you will do. Illusion is the equivalent to how you see things or think they are, however in reality, you see things from your perspective not as they actually are. When you decide that you are no longer comfortable squatting in your own bucket of mess, you will begin to dissolve these illusions about who and what you are. Patience is necessary in this process because you have had years of societal influence shaping you to believe who you are. Fear is a little trickier to move through, as it is the top layer of a slew of emotions not being addressed. Often times, fear is a gateway to anger and sadness. These emotions are very potent and are good at attaching themselves to fear so that you stay in your stories. If you felt frustrated or angry last week you were not alone and the full moon was present with the energy of boiling these emotions to the surface, not so you would be a train wreck, but so that you could see beyond the fear and anger to the truth of the matter. Breathe, Breathe, and Breathe.
You survived an intense set of days and I would guess that you came out of the week a little stronger, more open, and with a new sense of empowerment. So many of you are awakening to your inner wisdom and power and it is ok for you to see this as a gift. The world is ready and able to handle your brilliance and will welcome you, the AUTHENTIC YOU, with open arms.
