When I realized I was on a spiritual path, at the time, I hadn’t realized that my whole life had contributed to this path. There were moments that didn’t seem important until I looked back and saw them as opportunities to learn and grow. What challenges us throughout the journey into our heart and soul is having to face the places of our past, not only through the memories we carry in our mind, but through the EYE of our souls. I was recently reminded of the movie, The Never Ending Story, and I think of the Magic Mirror Gate where Atreyu had to face his truest self in order to pass through. Sometimes when we are working through a release of energy connected to something in our past, we find that we have new perspective on the who’s and what’s of those moments which includes ourselves. This part of the journey is being in the EYE, as you are tapping into the past through vision, addressing the energy to be release through visualization and allowing healing to happen through intuitive sight. Last week there were strong vibrations through the connection of heart and will. An alignment of vibrational energies to match the emotions of the heart with the ownership of our decisions and actions. Before being allowed access, the guidance seemed to require stabilization of the lower Chakra energies in order to move through the Solar Plexus and Heart. This alignment helps to stabilize and keep us moving forward.
It is an interesting thing to realize how the core of who you are is often influenced or even controlled by the flow of your emotions and at the same time, the truest self is always present underneath it all. As of late the term “grounding” has become a trendy word in the world of spiritual practices. The practice of grounding or rooting oneself to the earth is a way of keeping your physical body present and strong so that it can support your journey of soul freedom. When you are experiencing a flow of heavy emotions, especially ones attached to intense or traumatic memories, your heart requires your body to support the reactions of sorrow, anger or joy for example. Some of these can be quite an exhausting process, of which grounding supports by assisting the body to remain stable and with the breath during the release. For some of you, the response to the releases that come up is to flee or to allow your spirit (soul) to leave the physical body. Not necessarily in an out of body experience or astral travel, but in a way that enables you to avoid the emotional rising altogether. The mind bails, the heart veils itself in a movement of protection and the body is left hanging on to its roots so that you have a cozy vessel to return to when you are ready to face the release.
This is why rooting was so important in the last week and will continue to be anytime you are working with those kinds of intense releases. When you feel it arise see yourself standing or sitting upon the earth and feel into the root of your body (pelvic floor down to feet). Imagine that as you breathe, this lower place of the body becomes part of the earth through visualizing actual roots growing down through the earth’s surface from your body, or by seeing your legs become part of what you are connected to such as sand, dirt, rock, etc. Do your best to stay with an elongated inhale and an even longer exhale while in this visualization or meditative state to keep the energy moving through and potentially out. You can do this anytime heightened energies arise.
Once you are rooted, the work begins by addressing the emotions that were arising. Last week, for example, was about seeing the decisions you made to get you to this point, and taking total ownership for the next decision to come. All of this with the knowledge that others’ lives and energies would be affected by your decision. One of the most empowering experiences you can have is being able to look yourself in the eye and know that you did what was right for you with such a passion and love for your purpose, even if you don’t know what that means. In doing this you omit a frequency that moves out into the air and energy around you and is felt by all those you are in contact with. This vibration may feel too strong for some but if you are able to own that and still offer your purpose through love, those that are meant to be in that part of your journey will understand.
Always remember that you are important and are born with a great purpose in this world. Although it may seem that your reach is limited to those immediately around you, it is not. As their vibration resonates to you, their people resonate to them, and so on shifting many other beings with the courage and strength of your heart. Do what makes you passionate and the world will respond in kind.
